Not too much has been going on here in the land of Jackson. He is cooing lots, and we love to talk to each other. He loves sitting in his Boppy, has been liking his swing more and more everyday, and even has enjoyed his sling while Mommy put up clothes. He immediately went to sleep and even self-comforted by finding his thumb to suck.Jackson and Mommy went to Daddy's work to "show him off." Here is Daddy with Mr. Fontana (another pharmacist). We traveled to Jackson this week for my 6 week followup appointment. It was a good day...Jackson made the trip well (with help of some lullabyes that intrigue him), I got a clean bill of health, and we hate a Newk's (which we love and frequented during my pregnancy visit days). Back to the lullabyes, he loves this one Mozart-like version of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." He immediately quiets and gets a pensive look on his face. I think it is the sharp, high pitched tones in it. Also, I have been meaning to post this FOREVER. Here is Aunt Terry's very appropriate Xmas gift for Sam...

I love this picture of my beautiful Jackson! He is a gorgeous blend of his Mommy and Daddy.
We started with the sign "more." But when Laura Beth started to pick her favorite words (i.e. "dog," "da da," "ball"), then we started to show her those signs. She said the words before she signed them. So don't be frustrated if Jackson doesn't do them right away. I thought Laura Beth would never sign, because she always said the words, but never signing. Then, in the last month (she's a year) she has been learning ALL of them. Baby Einstein videos helped ALOT too. "Baby first signs" was really good. Good luck! :)
