Right after Cohen was born the boys and I were out at my parents' house while Jonathan was gone to a wedding or something. We practically have been living with them since Cohen's birth. It had rained and Jackson was itching to get outside. Papa took him out to play in the puddles. Papa taught him how to splash and stomp in the puddles. He had a blast!

Jackson started playing hide-n-seek a while ago excepts he always likes to hide rather than seek(but what kid doesn't?). He will hide quietly for a almost frightening long time. Here he is hiding...Thursday, July 8, 2010
Too fun to not post...
My dad burned a CD of all the photos off his camera this week. These photos are older but too cute to not share.
And the joy of being found! The quality is poor but the look on his face is priceless. He immediately says and signs "more."
Jackson loves to ride on the Mule at my Papa and Yetti's. One night while Jackson was getting a bath by Yetti, Papa took Cohen from me and went outside. He then came back several minutes later and asked me to come outside. He was smiling ear-to-ear. I didn't know what he was doing?? He had his camera and asked me to take a picture of Cohen's first Mule ride. It made me tear up how excited he was as he took Cohen around the driveway loop!

Lately
What have we been up to?
Jackson spent most of last week sick with high fever and a cough. Here he is pitiful looking, all rosy-cheeked from the fever...
He is much better now!
Cohen is so funny. He loves to sit like this and immediately falls asleep. He loves to be upright.
How different the boys are! I swear Jackson did not smile at this age; he was such a serious baby. Cohen? He is a big smiler. He is also starting to coo. Here he is talking with Yetti...
I tried to catch him smiling, but unsuccessful so far. But here is his sweet face...
This morning Jackson was sleeping, so I tried to sneak in a good picture of the boys. Jackson is usually blurred in all of them since he is always on the move. Cohen was sleeping but awoke when I started snapping.
I wish we had taken this with a real camera. It is precious. Jackson loves to lean in and give Cohen "love." Every time he says "AWWWWW." Can't you read his lips? Melts my heart!

Welcome to the World Cohen!
Although tomorrow he will already be three weeks old, this is Cohen's first debut on the blog. Life is crazy with two little ones, recovering from surgery, school, my recent hospital visit, and Heath's wedding. ANYWAY...here is our new little bundle of joy
Eight days overdue and weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz, 18.5 inches long (however, he is measuring 21 inches now???)

The brothers first meeting. Jackson didn't know what to think with me in the hospital bed and all the strange devices (notice the nice SCD leggings), not to mention everyone he knows standing around looking at us. He did manage to point out all of Cohen's body parts. He was really great with him the day we got home. He is really warming up to him. Jackson is so good natured that it doesn't surprise me how good he is with his baby brother.

Today is the day!
Our little Cohen William will enter the world today! At yesterday's OB visit, I was still not dilated but a fingertip and therefore unable to be induced. With my overdue deadline being Friday, my doctor scheduled a section. Though not how we planned, we can't wait to meet the little guy! Will post photos as soon as possible.
